Head in park was that of porn star’s lover

Montreal police have confirmed that a human head found in a park belonged to a Chinese student who they say was dismembered by a Canadian porn actor.

They said the head was that of Jun Lin, who was murdered and dismembered in May.

Luka Magnotta is accused of dismembering his lover, Mr Lin, and mailing the body parts to Canadian political parties and schools. He pleaded not guilty last month.

Mr Lin’s head was the only remaining missing body part until last Sunday, when investigators found it in Park Angrignon after a tip-off. The park is a few miles from Magnotta’s apartment.

Magnotta fled to Europe before the body parts turned up and was caught at a Berlin internet cafe.
