German tornado kills girl, 6, in car

A SIX-year-old girl was fatally injured after a tree crushed a car during a rare tornado that ripped through Saxony, eastern Germany.

Police in Dresden said the girl died in hospital. Three other people in the village of Grossenhain were injured. Emergency crews were clearing trees from roads yesterday.
