Football star accused of hiring call girl, 15

A FRENCH international has been accused of hiring a 15-year-old prostitute in the latest sex scandal to hit football in France.

Midfielder Yann M’Vila allegedly sent explicit photographs and texts to the girl he met in a nightclub. Then Rennes player M’Vila was a target for English Premier clubs in the January transfer window but signed with Russia’s Rubin Kazan.

The accusation comes as fellow French international Franck Ribery is set to stand trial in June for having sex with an underage call girl he hired as a “birthday present to himself”.

Police questioned M’Vila, 22, after texts and photos from the player were found in the mobile phone of a teenage girl arrested for shoplifting. Paris prosecutors are now investigating. The age of consent is 15 in France, but prostitutes must be at least 18.
