Firefighter killed in out of control blaze

ONE firefighter died and seven were hurt while trying to put out a fire in a sprawling shopping area on the outskirts of Bucharest.

Emergency services spokeswoman Anca Onofrei said the firefighter died saving a colleague when a wall partially collapsed on him at the Red Dragon Market yesterday.
