Finnish ‘tanky’ faces suspension

Timo Soini, the leader of Finland’s opposition Finns party is demanding the suspension of an MP from its parliamentary group for a month, for suggesting that the Greek financial crisis should be solved by sending in the tanks.

In Facebook comments, Jussi Halla-aho said a military junta was needed in Greece “to rein in the strikers and demonstrators … with tanks.”
