Film fans’ homage sparks manhunt

Police in Zurich started a manhunt to find the victim of an armed kidnapping – only to discover it was a re-enactment, authorities said.

Passers-by raised the alarm on Monday after seeing a man pulled into a car. Police found the vehicle and two air guns. They arrested the two men in the car, who revealed it was a recreation of scenes from a film.
