Easter travel delays on cross-channel

CROSS-CHANNEL ferry passengers face major Easter travel disruption due to a strike by French port control officers.

The action, starting at 7am this morning, is likely to lead to long delays to sailings to most French ports today and on Good Friday, say ferry companies.

Calais, Dunkirk, Dieppe and Cherbourg are all likely to be affected.
