Drug smuggler dies after internal burst

A COLOMBIAN woman has died in a New Zealand hospital after a bag of what police believe to be cocaine burst in her body.

Sorlinda Vega, 37, arrived from Buenos Aires on Tuesday. Her body contained at least 26 packages holding about an ounce of the drug each.
