Cuba battles rare cholera outbreak

Cuban authorities in the eastern province of Granma are in full prevention mode to contain a rare cholera outbreak amid fears that it may have spread to the capital.

People in Manzanillo said yesterday authorities were distributing chlorine and water purification, and hospitals were quarantining suspected victims until they were diagnosed.
