China: Nine students hurt in gang knife attack

MEN with knives burst into a Chinese college dormitory yesterday and slashed nine students in the latest violence in a country shaken by a recent string of rampages at schools.

In the pre-dawn attack on the southern island province of Hainan, at least five men targeted students.
