Children caught in Somali crossfire

MORE children are dying in the crossfire in south and central Somalia, the United Nations’ children’s agency Unicef said yesterday.

In October, 24 children were killed, nearly double the confirmed figure for any month this year. Kenya has sent troops into Somalia to fight Islamist al-Shabaab militants opposed to the Mogadishu government.
