British monk who co-founded Scots monastery killed
Police said three Tibetans confronted Tarap Shetrup Akong at his home in the south-western city of Chengdu and killed him, his nephew and his driver after negotiations soured.
Chengdu police said three men had been and had admitted the killings, and the case remains under investigation.

The Briton - addressed as Akong Rinpoche because of his respected status in the Tibetan Buddhist community - co-founded the Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
He maintained political ties with Beijing and with a senior Chinese leader in 2006 in London.
