Bossi and sons to be investigated

The founder of Italy’s Northern League party, Umberto Bossi, and two of his sons have been placed under investigation in a probe into misuse of public funds by Milan’s chief prosecutor.

Mr Bossi, coalition partner in a number of governments, quit as leader of the Northern League last month after the scandal emerged but denied personal use of party funds.
