Bid to impeach Ukraine’s president

Ukraine’s biggest opposition group yesrerday launched a campaign to impeach president Viktor Yanukovych for what it called the stifling of democracy and the persecution of opposition leaders.

Mr Yanukovych is under fire from the West over the jailing of ex-PM Yulia Tymoshenko.
