Arriving on Sunday night, he wrote: “Just got off flight … Nice 5 day break coming up before training starts again next Saturday… Going to eat a lot and do very little else.”

The win, which catapulted him to international fame, was a crowning moment on what had already been a phenomenal 12 months for him, having already won the US Open and Olympic gold in 2012.
However, Murray will be back on court within the month, when he takes part in the Rogers Cup in Montreal, Canada. He will also be defending his US Open title in New York next month.
The Bahamas is a popular destination for the Scot, who has used it as a retreat after Major tournaments.
