Amnesty plea for hunger striker

BAHRAIN has been urged by Amnesty International to free a human rights activist who is on hunger strike.

Abudulhadi al-Khawaja is “at risk of death” after 50 days on hunger strike, Amnesty said. He was jailed for life for his role in last year’s uprising in the Gulf kingdom.
