American tourists snatched in Yemen

TRIBAL gunmen kidnapped two American tourists from a taxi in Yemen yesterday and are demanding the release of a jailed tribesman for the pair, security officials said.

The US embassy in Sana said it was working with Yemeni authorities to resolve the situation.
