Allied soldiers shot dead in Afghanistan

Gunmen in Afghan police uniforms opened fire on Nato troops in southern Afghanistan yesterday, killing two Albanian soldiers and wounding another international service member, Nato said.

Last month France threatened to withdraw its forces ahead of schedule after an Afghan soldier killed four French soldiers on a base in eastern Afghanistan.
