120 smuggled dogs destined for menu

Thai police have arrested two men in the country’s north-east for trying to smuggle more than 100 dogs into Vietnam to be sold for human consumption.

It is the second such arrest in the area in less than a month.

Police said officers found two pick-up trucks carrying 120 dogs stuffed into sacks near the Thai border with Laos.
