11 people die in Australia blaze

A HOUSE fire in eastern Australia killed 11 people, including eight children, the youngest aged three, from two families.

Three people escaped the fire, which broke out in the two-storey home around midnight in Logan City, south of Brisbane, police said. The fire started below the house, but the cause was not immediately known.
