Workers' Day seminar

AN INTERNATIONAL Workers' Memorial Day seminar will take place in West Lothian next week.

Keynote speakers Professor Andrew Watterson, from Stirling University, and Patrick McGuire, of Thompsons Solicitors, will address the seminar on the influence of trade unions in workplace health and safety.

The seminar will take place at Bathgate Sports Centre next Thursday, from 10am to noon.

It will be followed by a service at the Workers' Memorial.
