Words set to shut up shop

Owners of the store, on Cockburn Street, said they would continue to sell books on their website and over the phone.

The shop's final day is earmarked for the middle of July, and a closing-down sale has already begun.

On its website, it states: "Our sales have been on a gradual downward slope for some years while rent, rates and other costs have increased."
