Woman's body found in river

THE body of a woman was recovered from the River Lossie in Elgin yesterday by police officers searching for a female who had been reported missing from her home in the town on Sunday.

Grampian Police had expressed "significant concerns" for the well-being of Mary Jane Clarke, 59, after she was reported missing at the weekend.
