Woman treated for flesh-eating bug

A WOMAN with the flesh-eating bug necrotising fasciitis has been treated in Dundee's Ninewells Hospital.

The OAP is the first person to need hospital treatment in Scotland this year with the serious infection. An outbreak in the early 1990s claimed several lives in the Central Belt.
