Woman stung 500 times by wasps

A MASSACHUSETTS woman who fell onto a wasps' nest in her yard remains in hospital after being stung more than 500 times.

Captain Tim Birch said firefighters were also stung after being unable to chase the wasps away. Even paramedics and emergency room personnel at Sturdy Memorial Hospital had to fight off the wasps.
