Woman killed in window fall is named

A WOMAN who plunged to her death from a window at the weekend was yesterday named by police.

Emma Louise Paterson, 33, from the Blackhall area of Edinburgh, died after falling from the property in the capital's Dundas Street at about 2:30am on Sunday. A police spokesman said yesterday: "Her death is not being treated as suspicious."

A second person died in Edinburgh after another fall at about 6pm on the same day, from a property near Great Junction Street.
