Woman killed in cliff plunge is named

THE woman who died from her injuries after plunging 30ft from cliffs at a popular tourist spot was yesterday named as Elizabeth McFall.

Ms McFall, 47, was walking with her partner on cliffs near Tarbat Ness lighthouse at Portmahomack in Ross-shire on Wednesday evening when she fell.

She was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where she died as a result of her injuries.

Ms McFall worked as an administrator and lived in Invergowrie, near Dundee.

A spokesman for Northern Constabulary said: "A report will be submitted to the procurator-fiscal and there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
