Woman held over 'suspicious' death in Glasgow

POLICE today arrested a woman over the "suspicious" death of another woman in her Glasgow flat.

Frances Craig was found dead in her home on Medwyn Street in the Whiteinch area of the city on Monday afternoon.

A post-mortem examination on the 52-year-old was held yesterday.

A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is being questioned in connection with the death.

It is understood she is due to appear in court tomorrow.

Police said Ms Craig's relatives had now been informed of her death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
