Woman flown to hospital after fall

A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital with suspected spinal and chest injuries after falling 50ft down a hillside.

Emergency services were called to Loudoun Hill, near Darvel, Ayrshire, when the woman, in her sixties, fell w at about 1:45pm yesterday. She was said to be in a “precarious position” and badly injured, making it difficult for rescuers to reach her.
