Woman flees from flat blaze

A WOMAN was led to safety by firefighters from a flat in the Lochend area after a fire broke out.

The fire broke out in the bedroom of a first-floor flat on Hawkhill Avenue just before noon yesterday.

The woman did not require hospital treatment.
