Woman fights off 'dognappers'

A WOMAN was knocked to the ground as she fought off two youths who tried to steal her dog.

She was in Burndene Drive, Loanhead, Midlothian, when the pair approached and made a grab for her Jack Russell. Her wrist was broken in the struggle, but the pair ran off when the dog tried to bite one of them.
