Woman escapes Moray Firth car plunge
A WOMAN driver was taken to hospital today after her car plunged into a harbour on the Moray Firth coast.
She was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin after escaping from her car at the harbour at Burghead in Moray.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm they are in attendance at an incident in Burghead after a car went into the water at the harbour.
The police, Scottish Ambulance Service and Coastguard are in attendance at the incident which happened at around 12:20 pm. The female occupant of the vehicle is out of the water.”
