Woman dies week after house blaze

A WOMAN has died in hospital a week after a fire at her home. Aileen Lindsay, 51, had been in Glasgow Royal Infirmary suffering from burns and smoke inhalation since the blaze in Lynn Walk, Balloch, Dunbartonshire, which broke out just after midnight on 14 February.

Five members of her family all got out of the house safely. Police said inquiries into the cause of the fire were continuing.
