Woman dies after fall from Edinburgh bridge
A WOMAN who died after plunging from the bridge on Slateford Road has been identified by police.
An appeal was launched yesterday to discover the identity of the woman, who fell from Canal Bridge at around 2.50pm.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and was not carrying any identification.
Her family have requested their privacy be respected and no details of her identity will be released at this time.
Police thanked the public for their assistance during the appeal.
