Woman died under her car

A WOMAN has died after becoming trapped underneath her car while she was attempting to defrost it.

A neighbour spotted her under a black Fiat Panda and called an ambulance.

It is believed she had been stuck for 30 minutes before being spotted.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died on Wednesday afternoon.

The bizarre accident had happened in Wickham Close, Widnes, Cheshire, at around 7am that morning. Police are investigating how she became stuck.
