Woman arrested after unpaid £520 restaurant bill

A WOMAN has been arrested after four diners racked up an unpaid £520 bill at an upmarket Essex restaurant.

Three man and a woman are alleged to have drunk £150 bottles of champagne and eaten steak and lamb dishes before leaving the restaurant in Dedham without paying.

A 46-year-old woman was arrested by police on Friday after CCTV footage of the incident emerged.

A spokesman for Milsons restaurant said that the group of diners offered to pay the outstanding bill, but added that the matter remained “unresolved”.
