Woman, 93, dies in house blaze

AN ELDERLY woman has died following a fire in her home in Milngavie, Glasgow.

Irene Young, 93, died at the scene of the blaze at about 6pm on Saturday.

Emergency services attended the incident and said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.
