Woman, 60, dies in house fire

POLICE are keeping an “open mind” over the cause of a fire that claimed a woman’s life.

The body of the 60-year-old was found inside the house in Dunfermline following the blaze on Monday.

Three fire engines went to the scene in Husband Place at about 12:20pm. The fire had been extinguished by the time they arrived, but the property was filled with smoke.
