Woman, 31, dies after falling into dishwasher
The 31-year-old woman was accidently stabbed to death by knives after she fell into the appliance in her kitchen.
Police today described her death as a tragic accident.
The woman was in the kitchen of her home at Dunrobin Road, Airdrie, when she slipped and fell into the dishwasher, impaling herself on a knife.

Hide AdThe victim, who has not yet been named, was rushed to Monklands General Hospital following the incident, but doctors could not save her.
The tragic accident happened shortly after 9.30pm last night.
Another person who was in the house at the time called an ambulance.
Today, a spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said there were no suspicious circumstances. She added: "It was a tragic accident and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
Six years ago a schoolboy died in similar circumstances.

Hide AdMark Rockingham, 12, of Kettering, Northamptonshire, severed an artery when a knife punctured his chest.
Mark was found by paramedics after his family called the emergency services. He died later in hospital.
Police officers said at the time it was thought the youngster had fallen on to the open dishwasher while reaching across it to a cupboard.
