Witnesses wanted after bus accident

Police appealed for witnesses yesterday after a man was badly injured in an accident.

The man, aged 50, parked his car in a bay outside his work in Queen Street, Glasgow, at about 8.50am on Thursday. It appears he stumbled and fell as he went to open the boot, and was hit by a bus. He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where his condition was serious but stable.
