Witches and Wicked Bodies head to Edinburgh

A MAJOR new exhibition featuring a world of witches and “wicked bodies” has been announced for this summer.

Art lovers can discover how witches and witchcraft have been depicted over the past 500 years.

Major works on show include pieces by Albrecht Dürer, Francisco de Goya and William Blake, plus 20th century artists such as Paula Rego.

The British Musuem and the Tate are loaning pieces to the display, Witches and Wicked Bodies, which opens at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art on July 27.
