Wind stokes blaze in Edinburgh property

STRONG winds were blamed last night for the intensity of a fire that destroyed a home in Edinburgh.

Firefighters were called to an address in Colinton Road just after 5:30pm, to find the roof of a residential property alight.

There were no casualties.
