Wildflower help wanted
WOULD-BE botanists are being asked to complete a survey about wildflowers in East Lothian to increase knowledge about biodiversity in the county.
Wildflowers are an important part of the ecosystem and a health indicator for woodlands.
East Lothian biodiversity officer Stuart Macpherson said: "Woodland plants tend to flower early in the spring to benefit from sunshine before tree leaves cast a dense shade.
