Wife on trial over hunting death

An American woman went on trial in Canada yesterday after shooting and killing her husband because she thought he was a bear. Mary Beth Harshbarger, 45, told authorities that she mistook her 42-year-old husband for a bear while the two were hunting.

Officials have charged her with criminal negligence causing death.
