Wife-killer Webster gets 30 years’ jail

MALCOLM Webster has been handed one of Scotland’s longest prison sentences for the “cold-blooded, brutal and callous” murder of his first wife.

The former nurse killed her for an insurance payout and tried to do the same to his second wife. He has been ordered to serve a minimum of 30 years in jail and will be at least 82 before he is considered for parole.
