WICS taps into water views

WATER customers are being called on to take part in discussions about the future of the industry.

The Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS) is looking for people in Edinburgh to share their views as part of the organisation's next price review.

The commission said it wanted to see more customers involved in discussions and to have a greater say in determining the industry's priorities for the future.

Alan Sutherland, WICS' chief executive said: "We are planning ahead now for the next price review process, when we will set charges for the period beyond 2015. We think that customers should have more of a say about discretionary aspects of the investment programme and their timings."
