Wheels still going round

DEVELOPERS proposing to build an 85 metre-high Ferris wheel in the Capital have been hit by delays to the submission of their planning application.

Great City Attractions - the company behind the world's biggest observational wheel in Singapore - had expected to submit its plans by Christmas.

The firm's Nigel Ward said: "It has taken longer than expected. Edinburgh is not the easiest city in the world in which to lodge a planning application."
