We're flying the flag for Forces day

THE Official Armed Forces Day flag has been hoisted above the City Chambers as the Capital prepares for a weekend of events to honour Armed Forces personnel.

Lord Provost George Grubb joined Flt Lt Katie Strickland, Colonel Martin Gibson, Air Commodore Harry Atkinson, Brigadier George Lowder and Naval Regional Commander Commodore Charles Stevenson for the flag raising ceremony.
