Wedding day mansion sold after revamp

A HISTORIC Lothians mansion has been sold following a major refurbishment that has seen it established as a leading wedding venue.

Musselburgh's Carberry Tower, which is the historic seat of the Elphinstone family, has been bought by Amazing Retreats, part of the Clarenco Group.

The sale follows a significant refurbishment of the 59-bedroom property by previous owners Gartmore House, a charity.
