Scotland's weather: Nail-biting video shows car slip and slide down Glasgow street in the snow before smashing into parked car

Footage has emerged on social media of a Tesla car slipping and sliding down a snowy hill in Glasgow’s city centre before smashing into a parked car.

In the clip, posted on Twitter by Des Tinney, the driver does not appear to be in control of the vehicle.

Someone can be heard in the background of the video shouting “wait”, while another person replies saying: “He cannae, he cannae”.

Mercifully, it is believed no one was hurt in the collision on Blythswood Street.
